Osaka day 1 ( mostly on KIX)

Hi again.

As promised, i will be updating my Osaka trip flow so letssss begin 🌍

So, the flight from Kuala Lumpur ( Malaysia) to Kansai (osaka) usually takes about 6 hours. And our flight was scheduled to be at afternoon but was delayed for one hour due to some technical reasons. Sigh. Waiting again. It was not hard but im so sleepy at that time. But we dinally depart from KLIA2 at 3pm.

It was a pleasant flight with Airasia and i just found my new fav in flight dessert which is the red velvet cake!! Thankyouu crews for being super nice that i started my journey with smile that day.

The awesome one!

Always craving for this view! I tepis Kat for this shot😂

6 hours are quite long, so be prepared guys with your stock of your favs shows or movies. I watched my kshow haha and sleep plenty in the flight. And dont forget to fill in the travel formas shown below so you wont rush later.

Customs !

Sorry terbalik. Haha arrival declaration form

And some not necessary shot with Ron

We reached Kansai Airport at around 12pm ( in Japan time), took bout half hour to finish all the process.

Since im going with a group tour, the lead actually helped a lot with the flow because hihi yeah new places new rules. Once you arrived, you have to take a train (short one) transfer to the main terminal where all the immigration and customs take place. No worries if u cant read japanese, they have signs in english. Just follow them.

I was nervous. Always. Hahah but fortunately everything went well except for awkward face when they are trying to capture my face at the immigration counter.

As we dont pray Magrihb and Isya yet at that time, our first destination in the airport was, the prayer room located at third floor.  A very good news to all Muslims travelling to Osaka, KIX  have a vet comfortable surau ( prayer room) as good as back in hometown. Alhamdulillah!

We decided to sleep at the airport, but me and my friend decided to explore it while other people are sleeping. Playing around trying to figure out the vending machines and things!.

Pikachu everywhere! Can u hearrrr me

100 ¥ to 300¥ per gotcha!!! Dont stay too long you might spend all your coins like us

Coheeeee! Failed japanese is me

And yeay for halal food! Onigiri!

Warning : black means realllllly dark and yeah. This is our first purchase on vending machine

Pikachu here too!

Tuna Mayo Onigiri (triangle wrap) for 107¥
( Like 4 ringgit) . Probably the most cheapest food ever here

U know what amazed me the most, the toilets! I have heard the rumors and yesss its the real one! They are amazing. Tbh in this winter weather, toilets are one of the warm location ever in Japan. Hahahah no kidding. But its the warm truth.

Spacious! With great functions!

I cant read japanese but i try hard and push all buttons it works anyway. They even have musics lulz

If u have kids and need to some toilet business, no worries u can put the baby here.

I just love their toilets. 5 stars!!!2

But one thing i like about KIX is so peaceful so calm.

KIX has a very nice layout and u can easily figure it out after few walks and i swear its not complicated at all. They have shops in the middle in almost all floor.
First floor for domestic flights. Third floor, prayer room, lounges and shops. Fourt floor for international flights. Second floor are mostly shops.

It was connected to other building, which connected us to all the places, with trainssss. Oh im so excited to talk bout the famous Japanese trains. Ttyl in another post!!!

P/s : wrote this gigihly on phone so pardon my writings. Will edit it soon as soon my laptop is good enough to see meee. Daaaa

of 2018 and my sweet escape.

assalamualaikum and hi. Finally got some motivations to write again after almost a year leaving this stuff, if my blog is a house, it would probably full of dust and webs now.
sorry not sorry but i'm back to rant on my not so cute life.

so many things happened in 2018 and i made a decision to make a visit to the land of my dream, Japan.

it was a spontaneous idea, i was searching online, and see some ads on good reasonable travel agent, and yes, i immediately booked a trip. To Osaka.

it feels so not real until now, it feels like my heart is still left in Japan, when i'm safely arrived here in Malaysia, few days ago, and decided to write my travel anecdotes since it's still fresh in my memories, if im keeping them for months like i did for Medan, i would probably do it halfway again. Who knows? school terms is opening again too, and i would be crazy busy after that.

so, some teasers before i start my daily takes of Osaka!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

me keeping my hands in pockets all the time because its freezing cold. 9c guyssssssss
Kids on school trips prob most cutest thing i ever see

fluffy pancakes i love!

see u in next post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

medan - Day 2

it takes me a month to actually update. Okay i apologized but ohgod the whole october is such a busyyyyyyyy month and nov is coming and i will very very very busy so i decide to write this while i can. so yes second day!

Wake up to beautiful scenery of lake toba is an understatement. the fog the view and verything! Subhanallah. I would stay and just stare for days. But no work no money no travel then hahha.

morning!

my art pointt of view

view from the breakfast place. vast!

serumpun katanya. i like the fried rice very much i have to resist my urge to actually add more

of course coffeeeeeee and dessert for a kick start in the morning!

wake up and having breakfast with heaven like view is not everyday routine while we at it. Enjoy as much as u can. They served buffet in place we stay so yesssssss!

From fried rice to kuew teow? I think they have a big range of food. No western k. Asian k. hahahhaha

so after  breakfast we finally head out to our first big destination.

Danau Toba.

market beside the jetty.

jetty!

its kind scary to board the ferry due to few reasons like scary staircase and everythinng but i managed to board anyway.

The view is amazing! Actually from where we board we can already see the place we are going but yes still need to take ferry keh or you can swim kut?

approaching

first stop. : Danau toba

so as we go on, i will told uolss a little bit la history about this place which i learn from our supir Afaan.

So this lake actually made up of volcanic eruption like ages ago and as you can see its a a very large largeeeeeeeee lake that actually circle a very big portion of medan.

the blue portion is the lakeeee. very big is it?

Its very deep and kinda scary hahha nope. okay nope it's safe okay.

welcome!

where to visit here on the lake!

the traditional house. Rumabuloh

like back in Malaysia we have so many ethnics so do here. So the one who has been living in this place is called batak Toba ethnic and we visit and see how the house here looks like. Looks like minang to me kan?

they have like dolls in front of the house. History said that people here used to ( Ages ago) like use black magic to make the doll dance but nowadays the use strings like puppets.

sounds interesting there.
history learning time!
Gentongan raksasa! sorry but i dont really rmmber about this place.
Makan diraja
We visited makam raja and you know kings name they are very long but the story behind it is very interesting. You gotta ask more.

And reminder : here u have to wear something like sarong on yout shoulder. No worries you didnt have to buy they provide it for you. It's like a symbol of respecting the dead.

this is the most yeah girls and shopping. Our supir recommend few shops and i did buy few keychains.  Here is the trick.

Buy here lols not in the main city because the price will actually double up or even triple in the city especially at the airport. ( i regret this so many times because i keep hesitating because of my budget)

You can see many souviners here ;like dream catchers ( we bought some for a very nice price) , t shirts, key chains or fridge madgets and even their own traditional songket.

and say horas horas pls for more nice prices! Its like greeting their language

I would say i'm very lucky to walk with my brilliant friend so we got the best deal!

bargain time!

and bye bye toba it was very exciting i will surely come again with my kids if the highway is done haha!

Next to berastagi! before that of course, we went for lunch! happy time!

i dont remember the place name. biyane it has been a month and half.  but the lunch as usual was a bless.

love! bye toba!

The ride to Berastagi was very very challenging. I think with my motion sickness i barely sleep and the road was rough and everything. It took like five hours also.

but stops make life better is it.

Second stop :  the thing is my memory is blur right now. now we just called this teh halia place okay!

Good way to stop your nausea or anything like headache.

The view!

the ingredients for the tea. quite massive right!
so here the recipe for the tea!

Serai + gula melaka?+ halia (the main) + cinnamon stick + rempah ratus

Tada!

Warning : it's dem spicy i almost choked and definitely force the wayyy to finish this. Okay just order one cup for all lah. Except you love the way it burns your throat.

fried banana for every cup of tea! sedappppp!

So the journey keeps going on after a cup of tea anddddddd yes long way there and the cloud began to darken.

but we stopped again for the famous waterfall stop.

Third stop, Air terjun Sipisopiso

there you goes.
if i were seventeen, i would like to go the waterfall and dive and yes have some shower. But my feet are aching and i cant hahha.

Okay, but truly it is beautiful but yes our rizki was like five minutes only because it started raining heavily after that.

until we reached Berastagi.

Berastagi. as i remmber it means like delicious rice?

it's like high land, and it's very cold, you dont need aircond and im frozen already like annaaaaaa.

fourth stop : Green Garden Hotel Berastagi.

Ohgod its raining or else i would dive into the pool. Pics later keh haha.

It was like very welcoming and yes sleeeeeeep until dinner. cold and sleep is a great combo after all.

Fifth stop : Resto Puncak

i'm not going to lie this is like haaaaa the most refreshing dinner like what u need on rainy day. perfect taste!

my fav egg soup!

more more

and moreeeeee food coming

delicously!

we were thinking of ordering hotel dinner because of the weather and we kind so tired because of the long ride but thanks god our supir brought us here.

I'm definitely a happy girl that night.

laaaaaaaaaa.

till next post.
